There are many things that you can get involved with here in Wintreath, both to help the region and just for fun! Based on your answers to the questions below, we will help you get involved in any aspect of the region that you're interested in so you can hit the ground running fast. Indicating interest here does not commit you to joining any aspect of the region, but will help us guide you to where you want to be here.

1) Are you interested in being part of our regional military?
No
2) Are you interested in forum roleplays (character, national, etc)?
Yes, but I won't always be available, so it may be better to count me out of that so I won't be missed
3) Are you interested in playing in our Minecraft server?
Yes
4) Are you interested in general region-wide games, such as Civilization V? If so, what games would you like to see?
Yes, I already have Civilization V, so that's a good one for me, other than that I don't have any other game suggestions
5) Are you interested in regional politics (elections, running for legislature, writing bills, etc.)?
I wouldn't want to run for a political job, but I'll vote.
6) Are you interested in general community discussions?
Yes
7) Are you interested in serving as a diplomat or an ambassador to another region?
Not really
Are you interested in regional journalism (writing articles for inclusion in regional publications)?
Not particularly, but I can if you need me to.
9) Are you interested in creating graphics for the regional website?
No

My name is Shelby, I run a little nation called Casuanea and am very new to NationStates.  I'm not big on politics, as you may have noticed, but I do like making new friends and I think this would be a great opportunity for me to get more acquainted with the game.  I like classic rock and Italian food.  I'm a Capricorn (for those of you who like keeping up with astrology) and I have 3 cats and a dog.  That's about all I can think of at the moment as far as introductions go.  Thank you!

It sounds like you're here mostly for the discussions and community...the best way to get started there is to just poke around the forums and post where you feel like. Be sure to check out our chat too...at times it may be dead, but we have active times too and we usually have at least a few people on. @Point Breeze should assign you a mentor soon, but until then please feel free to ask any questions here in the forum.
