I finally quit playing League of Legends today and decided I should play something else. I then promptly realized I've pumped so many hours into League of Legends since last December and  I need a new game to fill in between the tons of strategy games I churn time into already.

I didn't know one just quit League of Legends...did something happen?

Also, any particular type of game you're into? Might help us suggest games you'd like.

I don't play many online games due to my slow PC, but I do play many games that provide weeks of fun, even if they're not new.

I'm actually in the middle of Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna right now.

Champions Online! Superhero MMO, free

Well, I love Phantasy Star Online 2, but you'd need to do a lot of work to get it running in English.

Ace Online and Cosmic Break have fun PVP; the former is PVP air combat and the latter has highly customizable mechs and is fun to run around in between matches, imho.

I can't really rec anything better than Champions for superheroes, but these are fun...

I've slowly fell outta love with League at first it was fun to play with friends but now its so competitive. Just last night I got into a yelling match with a friend of mine during a ranked game due to us losing. I feel like its just not healthy for me to play with my anger management issues and how the league community feeds into it. Call of Duty has a less toxic community now. I do enjoy RPGs, Strategy games, Visual novels, Action, and Horror. I've been looking for a decent horror game with good design values for a while might try out Layers of Fear.

I second this suggestion.  And of course, there's always the Silent Hill titles...though I'd recommend the older titles (1-3) more than the later ones, as the horror factor is dialed down quite a bit in the later games.

The Evil Within is also a pretty well done game as well that I'd recommend in the horror genre...but Until Dawn is definitely the best of the genre for recent titles that I can recommend, or in this case second an existing recommendation.

One shouldn't scoff at Dead Space 1 and 2, either. Best of all, it's readily available on PC.

By the way, if you provide the specs of your PC, I could recommend a lot more games.

I've heard Dead Space is a pretty well done series of games in that genre, and I've actually been meaning to give that one a go myself since I do love a good horror game.

Outlast is also another good one that I hadn't thought of until now.  It's on both Xbox One and PS4, but also available for PC/Mac/Linux.  I'd definitely recommend giving that one a go since it's one of those games that relies much more on survival rather than being able to kill anything...much like Until Dawn is.

I've also heard Amnesia: The Dark Descent and its sequel A Machine for Pigs are pretty great horror games as well, and they're available for PC/Mac/Linux.

Yeah... apparently developers think that horror = action.

If you're into roguelikes, there's plenty of great ones on steam!

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (Pretty much a staple of the genre, ingeniously hard and complex, but also brilliant fun.)

Risk of Rain (My personal favorite, think Borderlands meets DOTA 2 meets Contra meets a speedrunner's wet dream.)

Caves of Qud (A highly complex, but highly fun roguelike. Themed around dungeon crawling, but still pulls a bunch of new and interesting elements into the mix.)

POWDER (A free game! This is the average roguelike experience, but hey, it's free, and fun!)

Catacomb Kids (Think Dark Souls' combat meets Mario, both in the sense that the game keeps all the relevant numbers low, and also has some ingenous jumping puzzles. If you need more convincing, go look at the utility rock video on youtube for the game.)

Realm of the Mad God (It's a MMORPG bullet hell roguelike. Ingeniously done, fun as hell, free with microtransactions that you don't need to get as it's co-op, and a riot with other people.)

And finally, one non roguelike reccomendation:

Alice Mare (A free RPGMaker horror game, although it's not very scary. Has an excellent story and soundtrack, and genuinely made me cry. It's my second favorite game of all time.)

ALERT: Deus Ex: Human Revolution is on sale at Steam for $4, and that includes all DLC. Honestly, it's a no-brainer.
