I honestly can't fault people in the US for their bat-shit crazy conspiracy theories.
I mean, it's not like the world is being watched through our internet connections, and every word we say is being recorded through our phones' microphones, and every camera on every phone is now used to spy on everyone-- oh wait. Some guy named Snowden found proof that this was happening. Snap.
Seriously, when shit like that starts to come to light, I don't know how any sane person wouldn't have severe doubts about their governments, and start paying more attention to other conspiracy theories.
I don't believe the Republicans would be any better, though.
But to get back on topic, if that is indeed what his clock looked like, and what the file name was (though I have my doubts), then it was an incredibly stupid joke to play, but the fact remains that no other student would have been treated the same way for what was essentially typical teenager stupidity.
