I tried to play it through for my channel but could not bring myself to finish it. Quite frankly, it gets very boring very quickly.

It sounds like an interesting idea if people want to do that...I've no idea how to make something like that though, much less how to make sure the nations balance each other out. Maybe someone here does though!

I just had an interesting idea. Although I have no experience at making mods, it would be cool In my opinion to make mods of our NationStates nations, possibly even make scenarios with them. Any thoughts on that?

I don't have any experience making mods either, so I can't really help you with that as of now, but I am in the process of converting our Wintrean Union map into a Civ V map in WorldBuilder.
