There are many things that you can get involved with here in Wintreath, both to help the region and just for fun! Based on your answers to the questions below, we will help you get involved in any aspect of the region that you're interested in so you can hit the ground running fast. Indicating interest here does not commit you to joining any aspect of the region, but will help us guide you to where you want to be here.

4) Are you interested in general region-wide games, such as Civilization V? If so, what games would you like to see? Yes, a bunch of games, like PDS games, Disciples series, The Guild series, Gaming Minds Studios games, and others

5) Are you interested in regional politics (elections, running for legislature, writing bills, etc.)? No

6) Are you interested in general community discussions? Perhaps

7) Are you interested in serving as a diplomat or an ambassador to another region? No

Welcome to Wintreath!  I hope you enjoy your time here.  Feel free to poke around a little until your application is processed.  If you have any questions, we'll be glad to answer.

Is this application necessary, though? I realised I could post in the gaming topics without citizenship, so I don't really have to be a citizen, do I?

For the gaming topics, not necessarily, but full citizenship allows you access to, well, everything else.  We used to have a forum mask for "Tourists" who were here for the express purpose of games, but I'm not sure if that's still a thing.  Plus, who knows - you might find something really cool you weren't interested in before, right?

Citizenship doesn't exactly hurt...I mean, you already have the nation in the region, so the work is done.

Welcome to Wintreath! I hope you enjoy your stay with us...as you probably know by now we've only got one official off-forum game, Civilization V, but I'm hoping that we'll see some more soon. Maybe you'll even eventually establish games of your own, if you're so inclined.

I suppose it's also worth noting that many former Tourists are now full citizens, and many have held government positions.
