The Security Council,
Understands that the proposal of "Commend Evil Wolf" was written to celebrate the good deeds of Evil Wolf,

Notes that the proposal does not do exactly that, rather, commends actions of Killer Kitty and Blue Wolf II,

Wishes that the Council may note that the Commended nation has been a notorious raider, and is the founder of the raiding and greifing region, Lone Wolves United, which was Condemned by this Body,

Reminds the Council that this nation's heinous activities can not possibly be ignored by the cover of deeds done by other puppets, which are meant to be identified as individual nations by this Council,

Aghast that the activities previously performed by the Evil Wolf, and under his authority, which include snatching the Freedom and Sovereignty of other nations and regions could be "conceded by the good deeds done by Evil Wolf"

Puzzled as to how the Council allowed such a lopsided, biased, badly written and unwholesome commendation to stand,

Hereby Repeals SC Resolution #169: Commend Evil Wolf.

The proposal sucks, let's get that out of the way - sorry, not sorry.  But it raises an important question in this line:

How can the Security Council commend the founder of an organization condemned by the same Council?  If Unibot turned out to be a forum crasher, committed harassment, and was generally an all-around asshole, would we still commend the UDL for all that it does?  No beef with Unibot or the UDL, just a prominent example. 

Very true! Commending the founder of a condemned region is just plain wrong. A better resolution of this needs to be made though. I can't support this one.

There's some thought that raiders should be commended cause their raids supposedly create activity in the game or some shit. I pretty sure I'm opposed the original proposal to begin with...

Essentially thanking criminals for employing cops, judges, and lawyers.

I was staring at those TG's and wondering, what in the hell is this?  Then I saw he was up for condemnation and I read a little more into it. Perhaps I'll put something out about it soon. It was unfortunate that I missed it.

Sadly, this is a good representation of the quality of SC drafts on the floor right now.

Bitely is some new guy who joined, attempted to get a few resoultions passed (and got one passed) without consulting people first in the forums. He later posted a revised version on the forums, but refused to accept critism and failed to understand how the game works. He then railed on about the 'elites' of the WA and how they were out to get him. He was found to have multiple nations in the WA and was ejected, causing him to blame the 'WA Elites'. His proposal was repealed with over 10 thousand votes for. He also spent a bit of money to get the initial resoultion passed.

It's actually rather fun to read/watch.

Wait, why is this in the citizen's platform? I was very confused for a second when I say I was the moderator for this topic.

Because Wintermoot decided to put WA into the Citizen's Platform, as an attempt to make WA more active.

It's not just WA...I'll probably be moving some things from Frosthold Castle here too. This is kinda the one-stop shop for Citizens to interact with their government, modeled on the forums some other regions have. I hope that it will make the WA more active, but I also hope that it will make it easier and more convenient for Citizens too.

TBH I'd much rather have everything compartmentalized, it's just neater that way...especially for governments.

It's still compartmentalized...there's still a Storting section and an Executive government section.

Wait when was Laurentus made a moderator?  This is news to me.

And secondly, I take it we're all against this repeal, or for?
