             My fellow Wintreans,

I come forward today in this election as a candidate for a second term in the Underhusen.

Voting for me is voting for a candidate who has experience and understanding of politics and Nationstates gameplay.  Before my time in Wintreath, I was in 10KI and was a part of the defender squad known as TITO.  I was also ambassador to here of all places before my immigration to here.  But being on 10KI, I am no stranger to politics, being a proud member of the Mayor Shelter Political Party.  I have been a part of many TITO operations including the South Pacific Liberation when it was taken over.  But I also have military experience here as well, the most recent large-scale operation being the Liberation of Lazarus.

Currently, I am the Jarl of Culture here at Wintreath.  In the past, I've introduced many new games and ideas that brought Wintreath much activity and helped contribute to its growing process.  Right now, I'm working on some new ideas and some big plans to bring to Wintreath and help against the Summer Lull.  I try to keep as active as possible when not juggling my offline life, and do everything I can to help promote culture both on Wintreath, and in the regions that I visit.

Speaking of visiting regions: outside of my Jarlship, I also am ambassador to 10KI, The North Pacific, and Mordor.  I am always constantly attempting to help find new allies for us to meet, and pre-establishing ties with regions...while also visiting ally regions I may not be ambassador to and attempting to help continue the ties that exist with those regions.

During the term previous to this current one, I was voted into the Underhusen and elected as the Speaker of the Underhusen.  During my time in the Underhusen, we were met with one of the most active sessions I've seen since joining Wintreath.

I will admit that I have made mistakes as well.  During my time in the UH, I wrote the bill which would have revoked a citizen's citizenship and then backed out of it.  However, while I do admit that it was an error in my part for several reasons, I wouldn't take back doing it in a heart beat because of the discussion that prompted immediately to progress to much better alternatives without having to resort to something so drastic as a revocation.  That one act prompted the talks and eventually creation of the Private Storting Forum to discuss highly sensitive matters, and was a kicking point for talks to refine and fix the court system into something much more usable.

My last term as part of the UH has taught me a lot and has opened my eyes as to how to properly handle situations that may be a seem a bit more difficult, and I'm ready to give it a shot this term and keep representing all of you, the citizens, in the best way that will benefit all of you and all of Wintreath.

How do you think the Storting can help in the summer lull?

Well, even in if we're as active as we were during the term before previous, I think it helps against the summer lull because it shows people that even in a lull, our government can be active, which in turn may encourage people to continue being active on the messageboard itself. 

In a sense, just setting the example of activity.  Lead against the lull, and others will follow.

What do you think you can do differently?

What can be done as a whole, for the next UH to work on?

I'll answer your first fairly quickly, I just need to think about it some more.

As for your second question, I think I'll echo other candidates in that the Judicial process is tweaked a bit better now, but it still needs more work.  I want to see it perfected, and hope that the next UH can achieve just that.  I think there's many other things that could be refined and worked on in which the term previous to this started on and this term continued on...but it's still an ongoing process which isn't quite done just yet.

Edit: Actually, for clarification purposes, what do you mean exactly in your first question?

Alright, for some reason I'm not completely here today, so I didn't understand at first...but thank you for the clarification in IRC. 

During my last term in the UH, you saw what I was capable of.  I was a very active member and Speaker, and took very much interest in what the citizens had to say on all issues before I cast a vote.  Also, with the collective effort of the UH previous to this one, the Platform itself was highly utilized in that effect to where citizens were encouraged to debate in the topics that we provided, and I had even wrote the guide to the Platform to encourage such discussions on any topics.

Because of us, the Platform has become much more lively in its recent days than it ever has been, and continues to be so.

So that is what you'd get with me as a Skrifa again if you vote for me.  You get someone who is highly active and encourages Citizen input, since the voice of the citizens is something that matters highly.  As a Skrifa, I would continue to sow the seeds that have been planted in making the citizens an integral part, and continue to make decisions that I know will support the majority of citizens and benefit Wintreath in the long run.

I can't promise perfection, as we are all prone to mistakes...but I will try my best as I've always done to make sure that your voices are always heard, and that all decisions are done with all of the citizens in mind.

Given your campaign avatar, do you support/use Linux or did you just want to find a "I Want You" penguin poster?

Both.  I found it when I googled the picture that's on my main post (as well as the one at the bottom).

But I also do use Ubuntu, which is a form of Linux.

Are you going to retake the reigns in culture full time?
