Paradox games. The Glorious Realm of the Time Waster.

If you do not know, this thread is mainly about four(soon five) games by the Swedish company Paradox Interactive, Crusader Kings 2, Europa Universalis 4, Victoria 2 and Hearts of Iron 3(Soon 4), along with their newest major installment, Augustus, which is a big secret they are holding from us.

So talk about your crazy experiences! Did the mongols inherit England? Did you turn Ryukyu into a super power? Has Hawaii finally taken its rightful place among the great powers of the world? Insert HoI3 joke here?

After playing EU3 a whole heck of a lot, I finally got into EU4...to be honest the new UI and mechanics kind of threw me, but I'm starting to learn. It's been a few weeks since I last visited my game playing as Teutonic Order/Prussia, but the last time I had I'd become King of France in a personal union and Great Britain had declared a succession war. Should be a fun situation to play through when I get back to it. ^.^

I loved Victoria 2. So many hours lost to that game, so many more to lose..... ah, nostalgia :]

I've only played Take Command Second Manassas from Paradox Interactive. It's an American Civil War game based on said battle with many mods and maps to add to it. Loved leading brigades, divisions and full armies.

I am highly interested in Crusader Kings.

I played Cities:Skylines quite a bit but I am finding traffic too difficult to deal with. Still, great game.

So me and Crushita have been discussing having a Crusader Kings 2 game this weekend, probably Saturday, which might conflict with Civ a little , but I am just wondering if anyone else would be interested in joining?

Also we haven't arranged a time, yet but should be doing that tonight, if you have any other questions ask away?

But I can never civilize. I always get steamrolled by Great Britain. Honestly, my favorite civilization to play is the CSA.

Yeah, my peasant army of irregular, untrained and ill-equipped soldiers can most certainly defeat the full might of the British Empire! China will not forget me!
