That's EDT, but yeah 5 if that works best with everyone. I'm not sure if I'll be able to any earlier than that -- just depends on how the day goes -- but I could give an update around noonish as to when I'd get done if that'd help.

So for some reason my Civ V isn't working. When I try to launch it, it doesn't get past the first load screen. Guess I actually won't be able to play. Probably should've checked that before originally posting. Sorry, guys.

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix it, though, I'd be happy to hear them.

Have you played Civ V before on that machine? Have you tried reinstalling it?

Yeah, it's the same laptop I've always played on. But I got it to work.

In case anyone else ever gets this problem, I went to Steam, right clicked on Civ V in my library, clicked "Properties", clicked on the "Local Files" tab, then clicked "Verify Integrity of Game Cache". I don't really know what that did, but Civ launched fine afterwards.

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. I've been moving the last few days, but I'm all set up in the new place now. Not sure how good the internet is here, but I'd be willing to try playing a game whenever the next one comes up.

Probably Civ V I'm waiting for VI to release the inevitable DLC and then for summer sale...

I totally understand...if it hadn't been for a great and generous friend I'd be in the same boat. Looking forward to some Civ V fun then.
