Section I: Ambassador Information

1) Who are you and what region do you represent?
Anders Blakewood, representing British Isles.

2) Are you replacing an ambassador from this region? If so, who?
I am not by our listings, though there may be another ambassador who represented BI here, before myself.

3) Does your region already have relations with us, or are you requesting an embassy as well?
We already have relations.

Relations with British Isles were severed on April 9th as explained in our Notice of Severance of Relations, which was also posted on BI and confirmed after a chat with our then-Prime Minister...so I'm assuming you're applying to re-establish relations.

How do you feel our regions can improve relations, assuming that relations are re-established?

You have my apology, I simply followed an order to post a update here. I'll have a talk with our Foreign Secretary to find out his intent regarding this. I would find re-establishing relations agreeable, but I'm only an ambassador and cannot speak for our Prime Minister or Foreign Secretary.

I have to admit, I'm a little bemused, since I had quite a heated exchange with your then Prime Minister directly afterwards and I'm pretty sure I pissed him off pretty good. I would have thought that alone would have reinforced the lack of relations.

I believe that some of the confusion comes from BI's official change of stance following Wintreath cutting off relations. Wintreath and other regions were not informed, and BI neglected to inform, as far I know, anyone.

Yeah...probably would have been helpful to inform people.

1) What made your region decide to pursue relations with Wintreath?

It's lively culture and friendly community.

2) How do you feel our regions can help each other in the future?

Perhaps we can have a festival or two!

I'm glad to hear that BI has opted for more viable relations with Wintreath...I have masked you and unlocked the BI Consulate.
