I think the entire system could do with rationalisation and streamlining, i.e. we have one judicial body that deals with all judicial matters and that body has a clear timeline of what should happen during a case. What I am getting at is the consolidation of all judiciary-related legislation into one Act, and then perhaps a separate list of Judicial Procedures for when a case does in fact arise.

Although Wintermoot quite understandably wants to retain a legislature-judiciary hybrid, I think it should operate along clearly judicial lines when it (or a specified section of it) is undertaking judicial functions.

I know we don't even have a Speaker yet, but I really want to get this out of the way.
