Amendments to the Default Seats of the Underhusen Act
2. Section 2 of the Underhusen Procedural Rules currently reads:

2. Should elections begin prior to the Underhusen passing a resolution for Seating, the amount of seats should be set to five (5).

Section 2 of the Underhusen Procedural Rules shall be amended to read:

2. Should the nomination period for elections begin prior to the existing Underhusen passing an Underhusen Seating Act, a referendum lasting no less than seventy-two hours and no more than one hundred and twenty hours shall be held to determine the number of seats for the next Underhusen.

I think this is an unnecessary complication of a perfectly adequate law.

And I believe this can keep the Underhusen on their toes. We don't need or want an inactive Underhusen with an act that allows negligence.

Then why not repeal the act instead if messing around with referendums?

If the people who (presumably) ran for, campaigned for, and won a seat on the regional legislature don't care enough to decide the numbed of seats the next term should have, what makes you think regular citizens will give a hoot?

I have more faith in the Citizenry than a dysfunctional Underhusen.

But the dysfunctional Underhusen is made up of citizens.

There are many Citizens who are not elected but are concerned about the welfare of Wintreath. A dysfunctional Underhusen not being concerned is an irony.
