I am a inexperienced mod maker for the game Europa Universalis 4, all of my mods are private. I also applied to MUN classes for the UN experience, If I get any good I might become a diplomat in the region.

Hi my name is Reinaldo Di Polo, but you can just call me Zep. I intended to get into this game (NationStates) as another way to amplify my MUN classes, and also to have some fun !
Questions: I have a few, about the game since I don't have the time to scour through the forums for these.

1. How does economy work, how do I raise it and keep it raised?
2. In the world assembly, does it partake in real time or are the resolutions and such are sent in a set day period?
3. Where do I check where my nation is located, apart from the region (South Pacific), and where do I check who are my neighbours?

I hope you enjoy the region and find everything you want here! We're a very friendly and meritocratic society, so as long as you stick around and put in some work, you can do anything you want here and meet some awesome people in the process. Of course, here you are, and that's a good start. ^.^

I'm not an expert at the NS side of things, but I'll try to answer your questions:

1) Everything about your nation stats, including economy, is dependent on the way you answer the issues you receive. Generally to keep economy up, just select pro-business decisions...some others may have some advice to add to that though.

2) World Assembly resolutions are voted upon over the course of five days, and if they're approved they become effective immediately. General Assembly resolutions that effect nation stats are only binding upon WA nations, though.

3) Well, your nation is located in Wintreath...it had to be to gain Citizenship and I just checked. You can find the location of your nation on your nation page as well, though.

Welcome!  I hope you enjoy your stay here.  To answer your questions, Mootles pretty much covered everything, but I have a few points to add.

WA resolutions are drafted, debated, and voted on by WA members in the World Assembly forum on NS.  Drafts are submitted by their authors, and they need a certain number of delegate approvals to come to a vote.  Voting lasts for five days, and if passed, they become effective immediately, as WM said.  If you have more questions about the WA, please ask.  I'm our Thane (deputy minister) of WA Affairs here, so I'd be happy to answer your questions.

As far as the location of your nation, there is no grand "World Map" that places nations next to each other.  Technically, every nation in the region of Wintreath is your neighbor.  Many nations develop a regional map that member nations can apply for, and we've had interest for such a thing in the past here at Wintreath, but we don't exactly have a skilled mapmaker in our ranks that could accommodate 300-some nations. 

Since you're interested in roleplaying, I'm going to ask @Sapphiron to be your mentor.  There are a lot of exciting things going on in the roleplay department right now, so you've come at the right time.
