You don't have to request for a name change.

Click the Top Right Icon -> Old User CP -> Modify Profile -> Forum Profile -> Scroll to Name -> Type in Desired Name -> Change Profile

I didn't have much experience when I became President of Spiritus when I was there...as long as you put in the work, and you pay attention to certain areas (recruitment, for example), I'm sure you'll succeed.

It is an honor to be the first of my kind. I'll take that as a compliment. 

Hmm...there isn't really much you can do to simply recruiting...you either put in the tedious work or pay out the ass to have it automated for you. There's the API method too, but thanks to NS++ you have dozens of regions sending telegrams in that queue. That being said, the best thing you can do is have a message that sells your region and a region that lives up to the message that you put out...integration and culture is just as if not more important than recruitment, because they're what makes a region unique. My personal philosophy is that in order to be successful, all regions have to be unique in some way that's meaningful...that's something that's harder to do now with cosmopolitanism, but I think Wintreath has accomplished that, and I think Ainur has a leg up in that area as well.

Not really tips, but I hope it helps.

I'd ask what you see as unique in Ainur as well since you said it has a leg up but we are on the Wintreath forums so I won't ask.

Egads! You're after the secret sauce!

We have unique people, a unique community, and unique things to do...overall a unique experience. We're well-known for being exceptionally friendly and open, and our government system encourages unity over political conflicts and dramas. We're usually a community that people come to to chill and have fun...even serious matters, such as the recent debate about revoking Gov's Citizenship are usually done in a civil and respectful manner. In terms of NS we're a region that's 'away from it all', but at the same time still has a strong diplomatic network and offers the features you'd expect of a gameplay region.

So yeah, just in general.

It does seem pretty fun and welcoming as well. 

The winter theme is pretty nice as well. I could use the cold, it's really hot here in the Philippines as of now.
