I can agree with that, since essentially it shouldn't take more than 24 hours to pass a motion and move it to a vote.

Is there anything else anyone wishes to discuss on this or add to it?  This is something that I would very much like to bring/see brought into the UH...but I want to make sure that any feedback that anyone has is heard before doing so.

Yeah, can you make sure the bill cites (in quotes) the sections you're changing? The original Act allowing for amendments in the first place requires it, but no one's really followed through properly despite it. It makes comprehension far easier.
