You could look this up on a website, you know...the weather here actually often is calm, just cold, so yes.

@Colberius X, what kind of research do you do that allows you to have not gone outside yet?

Oh, you know... I'm just gathering data on what you guys are up to, what it's like outside, etc.  Then, I analyze it, just the same as any of you scientist-types.  In that regard, I guess we're pretty similar!

However, unlike the rest of you, my research is done! Thank goodness I didn't need to go outside. Brr.  I'd better take Hugism's radio and let my superiors know that I'm at a Polar Research Station.  It's been a pleasure, gents, but I miss Tahiti.

@Wintermoot, what I was getting at with my question was the fact that you can see the Aurora at night if it's nice and clear out.    I was hoping if you were a good guy that you'd be able to pick up on that rather than commenting on the weather itself.

Considering the answer to the first question I gave, I'm surprised.  Boat isn't an uncommon way to get there....but with the threat of things such as icebergs, it makes for a treacherous journey.
