Since time began, man has exalted himself in the highest of honors. He (Man) built great civilization, increased his knowledge of the Nature surrounding Him, and mustered individual strength for the acquisition of power. Never before did this structure built by the Old Beings come under scrutiny, until now.
The great civilization of Azkavia, under the rule of King-Regent Formas of Agathria of House Tysis, has been in steady decline ever since the death of King Urhal I, the founder of the House of Regersson, and the resulting consequences that have plagued Azkavia ever since. The Azkavian-Uslavian Reconquest of Breaslee has ended in severe disaster, with Uslavian King Vaximir coming out on top, and demanding the relinquishment of a tribute of 15 men and women every month, as a token of victory.
King-Regent Formas must abide by this, in order to keep the kingdom from internal strife and conflict, and as such, agrees to the demands. This was 18 years ago.

I am writing my first topic, naming it Exodus. What I have in mind is a role-play that is available to all, with sophisticated (though not restricting) plot, great community feel, and overall fun. "Exodus" is about a group of travelers, who are chosen for the tribute as described in the opening paragraphs (Sorry, I want to go all out, but brain keeps revolting against my might). It can be anyone and anything. If there are too many openings, then I will just play them off as NPCs. "Exodus" basically goes into depth on into depth into the travels, struggles, and successful "exodial" journey home.....(or wherever our heroes end up lol).

Appearance:  wild, uncivilized, possibly unsocialized. It seems to those few who have caught a glimpse of her, that she is more a feral beast than a normal person.
Equipment: Oak Staff that fell off a merchant's wagon.
Clothing: collection of Leathers, leaves, and animal parts such as antlers and feathers.
Occupation: Druidess
Motivation: There is only one motivation in Valanthe's life. What nature demands of her, she shall accomplish. Though what nature's motivation in this is a mystery.
Biography (optional): 30 years ago, a woman gave birth to a little girl. Unfortunately, she was in the countryside alone. She did not survive her labors, but the girl did. Inexplicably, a mother wolf heard the baby's cries, and managed to gain entry to the baby. Smelling death on the mother, the wolf took the baby as her own.

Over the years rumors began to circulate about the wild girl who ran in the forests, was friends with wolves and bears. Some thought they'd seen her sitting in an eagle's nest. One man tried to catch her, and he swore the forest itself turned against him. Though he'd been drunk, the story spread, of the girl who was one with Nature.

Appearance: black thick beard, ice blue eyes, wide shouldered for a man.
Equipment/clothing: Custom fitted suit of tungsten plated dragon hide armor (for dragon hunting) (somewhat enchanted yet with what blackwall will not reveal), standard kit for adventuring with all the bare essentials needed for travel(camping supplies, small coin pouch,carving knife) , Some personal belongings in a satchel pack, and his Ivory hafted,sterling silver,claymore
Occupation: former knight of the Ivory isles turned to man of righteous action for events in his past
Motivation: to seek redemption
Biography:Blackwall has never been a man of words, but one of action. what few escape his mouth tend to be highly intelligent and insightful...yet nothing much else can be guessed about  the man besides the likelihood of what he once was and who he appears to be today.

There isn't really a "formal" way of advertising. You can promote on the RMB or forum shoutbox. Once you are satisfied with a number of roleplayers, you can start the roleplay first since some of us will join along the way.

It seems like no others have decided to join, so I will begin the RP very "shortly" after this post.

Yavagiir stands in his robe, eyeing his scrolls, books, and runes in the Royal Library. He holds his staff, leaning on it as if from exhaustion.
"The day has finally come. Now I do what must be done."
With a great burst of briskness, he flicked his hand in the air, muttering a few chants and verses. In an instant, he was in the King's Chamber. Yavagiir stood before the king with respected and shielded anxiety. "My liege," Yavagiir said hoarsely..
The king waved his handed, as if knowing what the old man was going to say. Yavagiir then nodded his head in acceptance, and again vanished from his standing spot. *time lapse*
Yavagiir stood in the Royal Courtroom, among him 15 young men and women. It has begun.
