... By lightening the hell up?
Serious answer though: I'm pretty adaptable, and once I understand the laws in context with the region, and what the region actually tries to accomplish with its specific set of laws, I'll adapt my approach to those laws appropriately.
I actually asked Colby what this region is, or what it tries to be, and he gave a general answer that is a friendly, welcoming place (except to nazis). So I wouldn't want to change that, as that is what drew me to the place to begin with.
In addition, we have very minimalistic laws in New Hyperion, and I don't really try to make them as complicated as I would in law school, because they already serve their purpose well enough. That's what I'm about. I only try to make things work well enough as to be efficient, but will actually listen and keep in mind what a specific set of laws are trying to accomplish, without making it so complicated that you would need to study law yourself to understand the technicalities. It is a poor lawyer who tries to make things too complex to understand for a simple guy on the street anyway.
It should also be kept in mind that, if I get elected, I would be one in a good number of skrifas anyway. So as I understand it, unless I then get chosen as speaker, my word and ideas would be worth no more than any other skrifa, which means that even were I to fully implement the judicial, executive and legislative aspects of a true state or country, I would be met with resistance anyway.
