  • "Oh, no thank you. I am devoted to the highest of all powers, the original source of Creation itself. Known of course by many names in many places, bearing many different forms, sometimes none at all. That gives me all the power I've ever really needed." Rahegalhoff said, politely turning her down.

"Good luck. There's only two of us, no dimensional alternates, or differing possibilities. Exactly two of us, and not one number more. We only exist in this possibility, and as this is your first time visiting this iteration, then you've not yet met our opposites. Just be warned, there are stories of Demons, whether they come from Hell, or The Warp, or other places. They all give this man a wide berth. It will take all you've got as a lone entity to defeat them." Starfire warned, not in the slightest bit angry. He did after all practice what he preached, which was forgive and forget. He'd already done exactly that between when they parted ways and now.

Else meanwhile, was fighting a professional exterminator, and he was fully armed with all his pest extermination tools.

  • "She's busy fighting the Exterminator, as seen in these monitors." Starfire explained.

"Perhaps that Ice Rhino messed with your vision, there is only Starfire and I, not two horses. I am very clearly not an Equine of any sort. I think a sip from the Wellspring of Rejuvination might help you out." Rahegalhoff said, gesturing to a large fountain nearby, full of clean, pure, magical waters known to aid in healing and recovery.

"Also, it's not us you're fighting next, but the alternate versions of us. Look in the stands after they appear, you'll understand." Starfire promised.

  • "KALIA!" Rahegalhoff called.

An elderly woman, revered for her healing prowess teleported in.

While it was true the pair didn't know what was wrong with her, Kalia was among the 12 ancients of Warhaven. In particular, she was the Ancient Master of Spirit, which was better known by its sub-domains of Healing and Necromancy. Kalia had studied both since the Ancient Times, and even studied non-magical medicines.

Kalia used a spell she devised known as scan on Chrysalis.

"Hmm. Lessee here, Changling, Acidic blood, and a DNA splitting toxin. She wasn't supposed to fight The Shapeshifter until later. Yes, the young loudmouth with the claws she obtained from The Priests of Nurgle. Damned deadly things those claws. Well, let's get started then." Kalia said, and promptly began using her knowledge of the healing arts to carefully remove the toxin and repair Chrysalis's DNA.

  • Crystallis chuckled, “With all due respect, Dr. Xos, my method of classification has never been captivating, even for individuals with an obsessive desire to research on the different forms of magic. I am to be blamed for such an occurrence, for despite the fact that I have been worshipped as a deity of knowledge, I simplistically classify magic into two categories, namely Known Magic and Arcane Magic. The former comprises of all the types of magic that have been acknowledged and made known to the general public while the latter comprises of magic that only a rare few are aware of as well as undiscovered magic. However, for the sake of maintaining an interesting conversation, I shall give a brief sharing as to how the residents of the Floating Isles of Sapphiron group the different domains of magic.”

A leather-bound, antique-looking book appeared on his hand as Crystallis flipped to the facing pages. The rising column of dust accumulated throughout the years took advantage of its few seconds of freedom to cause a sneeze, a cough and a generally displeased immortal. “I knew I should have brought my respirator along,” Crystallis muttered under his breath before returning to the discussion, “Anyhow, I will now describe the social hierarchical structure.”

Celestials – This is an honorary category for the three major deities responsible for the existence of the nation, namely Genesis the Creator, Exodus the Destroyer and Enlightenment the Tutor. They are basically the ones at the very top.

Ethereals – This is the category for the rest of the deities who managed to stay popular or relevant enough to have enough worshippers. They are only answerable to the Celestials and have complete control over one specific aspect.

Transcendents – This is the category for mortals who have ascended to godhood. Accomplished scholars have attempted to explain such a phenomenon by claiming that it is through the discovery of a new domain of magic but there has been insufficient substantiation to prove their claim.

Primordials – This is the category for mortals who are believed to have “mastered” a particular type of magic. Individuals belonging to this category are at the top of the social pyramid, being highly respected and wielding an immense amount of influence. Their words are often taken as the truth.

Casters – This is the category for the rest of the mortals who have the potential or the ability to use magic.

Peasants – This is the category for mortals who lack the potential or the ability to use magic.”

Scratching his head, Crystallis said, “Wait a second, you asked for the categorization of different forms of magic. My apologies, I have just thrown out facts that you most probably couldn't care less. Allow me to proceed to answer your question.”

Embodimentalism – Individuals specialized in this domain of magic are referred to as Embodiments, being actual physical manifestations of a particular power or concept. Most of them are also Primordials.

Summonerism – Individuals specialized in this domain of magic are referred to as Summoners, with expertises varying from summoning celestial and demonic beings, invoking spirits and conjuring creatures from the abyss.

Elementalism – Individuals specialized in this domain of magic are referred to as Elementalists, with control over the classical five elements, namely Fire, Water, Nature, Earth and Metal.

Physicalism – Individuals specialized in this domain of magic are referred to as Physicalites, with the focus on physical enhancements such as Strength, Agility, Stamina, Endurance and Perception.

Intellectualism – Individuals specialized in this domain of magic are referred to as Intellects, with the focus on mental abilities such as Illusion, Memory, Emotion, Dream and Telepathy.”

  • TCH:

"A toxin was splitting your DNA. I removed it and healed you." Kalia said, helping Chrysalis to her feet.

    ......

    Sapphiron:

"That is quite a difference. Here, Intellectualisim is categorized as Psionic power, divided between Telepathy, and Telekinesis, all powers therefore being a form of one or the other, if not a Hybrid of the two. Except for illusions, Magic users share that much.

As for magic users, we have four levels:

Mages are the weakest, usually their untrained, barely trained, or possess low levels of magic.

Witches and Warlocks are stronger, usually filled with students. Otherwise this category is the most common for magic users. They have some far ability, but usually don't do anything major.

Sorcerers and Sorceresses are next. Their usually very strong, and very talented. It's not uncommon to find them in charge of something.

Wizards and Wizardesses are the strongest of all, but very rare. They tend to have very high ranking positions, either in government or with major corporations.

The Appelation of Arch, or Master can be applied to any level, and signifies a person with extraordinary experience and skill.

Above the Wizards come the gods.

First there's the Demi-Gods. Half-Mortal, half-Divine. They tend to be notable for one thing, and that's it.

Lesser Gods are stronger, and tend to govern one or two domains they watch over carefully.

Elder Gods  are strongest, and govern either very powerful domains, entire species, or wide areas of Creation.

Then there are The Eternal Powers. Omnisource, The Eternal Creator, Kajeenith, The Eternal Destroyer.

My friends and I have existed in spirit for as long as they have, tasked with researching everything, and teaching those who need to be taught. There seems to be a bit of correlation between your celestials and us.

But while I am eternal in spirit, I cannot match The Eternal Powers in strength.

Then there are the 12 Dominions of magic, ahh, but first a quick check of Palace Energies." Xos said.

With that, he stopped and concentrated. They'd been walking through gates and archways, having never once stepped foot outside, yet had traveled across half of Kessingale in a short amount of time. Clearly magic had been at play somehow.

  • OOC: I'm assuming it's open direction on whodunit, so taking from things you've said earlier, I present, the following solution.

    IC:

"Well, as for a good drink, have a pint of Dwarven Ale. It'll knock you flat on your ass and blast your sense of taste straight into oblivion for a few hours.

To the Toxin, it's chemical structure is unique to The Bureaucracy. To find out who did it, we'll turn to the Massive Omniscient Mega-computer." Kalia said.

She turned to the panel displaying the match on the wall, Else and the Exterminator seemed dead even.

"M.O.M. Who poisoned Chrysalis?" Kalia asked sweetly.

A computer generated face of a motherly woman appeared.

"No one my dear, I've been watching. M.O.M. watches over all who enter The Bureaucracy. No one's had the chance, the motive, or the ready access to appropriate chemicals during the times Chrysalis has been in the locations she's been in. I'm sorry." M.O.M. apologized.

"It's ok M.O.M. we love you goodbye." Kalia said, and the woman disappeared, bringing the match back.

    She paced and thought.

"AHA! Assuming you have the power to cross dimensions, you and your hordes must have conquered an Alternate Warhaven. That means I know EXACTLY who poisoned you. Nightstalker. The greatest of all Ninja. No one knows who Nightstalke is, except Nightstalker. Nightstalker must've poisoned you after your conquest, incase you ever encountered another Warhaven, and here you are. You entered, the toxin activated, and you started dying. Clever plan to save what to Nightstalker would've been another Warhaven." Kalia revealed.

    Rahegalhoff meanwhile advanced upon Pengu.

"Show me your Censorship License, as granted by The Department of Communications, and stamped by The Department of Hypernet Affairs, signed off on by M.O.M. Otherwise, stop it. You may not censor others without a properly obtained license, not even for fun. Especially not for fun. As clearly stated by Bureaucratic Law, Fun is especially prohibited and against the Law in all its forms. Even children require a license to have fun." Rahegalhoff growled.

He appeared serious, but that's because he was, Rahegalhoff did not possess a sense of humor.

  • Tell me will I have the pleasure of peeling his skin from his shaking form and sew a nice blanket as i drink his blood and use his skull to beat him to death.her voice is just eerily sounding like she is describing a work of art

    *a random citizen barges in*

sorry miss but how is that even possible? he asks inquisitively.

*she turns to him with the most serious stare*

That's what the last guy said as I beat him to death with his own skull...

*she then opens a rift showing the queen griping a bloodied skull as she beats a man to death with it*

HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE!? the man screams as his buddy is pumping tons of ammo into chrysalis with no effect.

*the queen then shuts the rift and the random citizen walks away disturbed by what he saw*

Starfire I want your approval to act so brutal on your clone that the images of what I do have to be censored to the point another clip of whats going on has to be present to cover up how terrible in what had occurred. the changelings tranquil rage is a bit unsettling but it is valid considering how painful that prior experience was.

  • "If you can find that Nightstalker, by all means, do as you will. Our version of Nighstalker is innocent." Kalia said.

    Starfire chuckled.

"You've just made Hellfire's day. To him, Pain is another name for Pleasure." Starfire said, grinning.

"Chrysalis, one thing you absolutely HAVE to understand before going in. My alternate bears a legendary blade. It is blood red in color, and has the ghostly image of a baby in the blade. The hilt is as black as night. The sword's name is Innocence. Innocence can and has cut through Starship materials. Your hide doesn't stand a chance. ANY WOUND MADE WITH INNOCENCE WILL NOT HEAL, NO MATTER WHAT FORM YOU TAKE. THE WOUNDS WILL STILL BE THERE IN YOUR MANY FORMS. Only a handful of people can heal the wounds made with Innocence. I am one of them. Starfire is another, Kalia is a third." Rahegalhoff warned.

In the ring, the Exterminator threw a Bug Bomb, and got Else with it. Choking and confused, Else began slowing down, landing, falling to her knees, and slowly dying, not understanding how the gas and powder was killing her. The look of confusion on her face after she died was pitiful and heartrending for those in the crowd who like her. Even the Exterminator took off his cap in a moment of quiet respect for the biggest bug kill of his career.
