Hello contestants, und velcome to ze signups for ze Battle City Tournament hosted by mein fuhrer: Seto Kaiba.  HEIL KAIBA!

Yu Gi Oh Abriged: Card Games At 20,000 Feet

Let me first congratulate zose of you who are joining us for zis duel, as one must have gotten 6 locater cards from other duel contestants, as well as one of zeir rare cards.  Und here are some of ze contestants zat were a part of ze Battle City tournament:

und here are some of ze contestants zat have made it to ze finals:

Yugi Moto – Yugi Moto is the protagonist of Yu-gi-Oh!  He's a rather peppy fellow who loves winning children's card games, and has a spirit that resides in his millenium puzzle named Yami.  Despite what Bakura's millenium Gaydar ring says, Yami swears that just because he inhabits the puzzle of a boy, he's not gay!  Because of his duel identity, Yu Gi has 2 lives, and will lose one if he's lynched or attacked during the night.  If Yu Gi is sent to the “Shadow Realm,” then all good power roles will lose their focus and thus their powers.  He can defend or scan a role for up to two breaks.

Seto Kaiba- Watch out guys, because Seto Kaiba's ego might take over the room.  His favorite pastimes include beating people into submission during a children's card game, screwing the rules since he has money, and saving his brother Mokuba who tends to get kidnapped at least once every couple of episodes.  Using his Kaiba Corp satellite, Seto can scan the crowd of duelists and help weed them out.  He hopes to gain control of all three Egyptian God cards, and become the #1 duelist in the world.

Joey Wheeler and Tristan Timothy Taylor – Joey and Tristan are two of Yugi's best friends along with Tea, Mai, and several others.  With the power of friendship and a thankful lack of Tea's friendship speeches, Joey and Tristan have agreed to help out with the duel.  With Joey's brooklyn rage and Tristan's hair giving him super strength, they're both able to protect up to two people (one each) during each break.  They cannot, however, defend the same person twice in a row.

Marik Ishtar - Main antagonist of Season 2, Marik wishes to gain the Egyptian God cards and gain the power of the Pharoah.  Unbeknownest to Yugi and his friends, Marik is someone that they don't know about, but who?  Marik has two lives for reasons unknown, and will lose a life if he's lynched.  He can choose to redirect a good power for up to two breaks.

Bakura/Florence and Odion - Bakura is normally the strange British friend of Yugi that says things that nobody understands, and they tend to ditch when able.  When possessed by his Millenium ring/Gaydar, however, he becomes Florance – an evil being seeking control of all seven of the millenium items.  Odion is Marik's humble servant who does everything his idiot boss tells him to do.  During each night, both of them will choose a person to send to the Shadow Realm.

In zis tournament, zere are also some rules set by our fuhrer Kaiba:

1. Joey and Tristan may not defend the same person in two consecutive breaks.

2.  While beating Bakura/Florence and Odion is necessary, you must defeat Marik Ishtar for the good guys to win the game.

3.  The game will have the Tournament Selection, which will last for 48 hours, after which we will be presented with a duel if a contestant is chosen.  After the duel we will have a 24 hour break, in which the special duelists may do what they need to prepare for their duels.

4. Roles cannot be revealed publicly, which includes alluding to your role.  While each person outside of special roles will be assigned a Yu Gi Oh character, their name will not be revealed until their duel.

Like I said, it requires no knowledge of the anime or abridged series.  It's usually only an added bonus that you understand references being thrown out.  The only thing it requires is a knowledge of Werewolf, so you should be perfectly fine.  .
