Here are the election results for the latest election...in all there were 12 ballots cast, four of which were private and two of which contained blank ballots for the Underhusen election.

In this case, the mock STV election mirrored the results of the official election, right down to the order of candidates with the most votes. I suspect in this case most candidates didn't reach the threshold but were elected because several ballots were turned in blank. However, the result would still be valid under Wintrean law because the Fundamental Laws only requires a plurality, not a majority.

If anyone would like to discuss the STV portion of this election I would be happy to listen, but my feeling is that we probably will not be switching to the STV system as a significant number of people had issues with the requirement to rank the candidates...unless I'm reading it wrong and there's actually lots of interest in the STV system.

I have decided to make the same appointments as last term, so there will be no changes in the Overhusen.

I find it interesting how the candidates elected with our official method got elected and were involved in a tie (Hugsim and Nox along with Me, Reon, and Axis(Joshua))
