I choose not to vote for Chanku.
OOC: thought I could still answer and ask questions during a vote...

OOC: I don't know myself, I just wanted to make sure you hadn't missed it.

Questions are technically stopped during a vote.  Though if Reon chooses to answer a question rather than voting, that would technically be like saying that he chose not to vote, which he did later vocalize.

And all votes must be unanimous, so the game continues.

I'd imagine it shouldn't be too far.

I want to start another vote for Chanku being the spy. His last answer was suspicious.

And in retrospect Chanku's last answer actually wasn't that suspicious:  The nearest town/city would have been New York City, since it's literally surrounding the park.  Considering one would have to simply walk out of the park and thus be in the city, it really wouldn't be too far unless you were already deep near the center.

Likewise, I'm a little surprised that you started the first vote against Chanku, Ater.    Considering the XKI's 2nd-to-last Spyfall game was also in New York (Statue of Liberty), and snow was a weather answer as well.

What were your thoughts on the game?  what worked? What could be improved on?  Would you play again?

I'll echo Ater's thoughts and say that I was a little surprised at how descriptive some of the questions were.  I was expecting Mooty to pick up on being in a park, and with everything everyone was describing, I was thinking that he'd catch up on it being a specific park right away.  I don't know if he actually picked up on it, but he did well enough to where nobody started a vote against him.

I was also slightly amused that Chanku's first question to Hugsim was a payment question, which was understandable given Chanku's role...but was amusing because of Hugsim's role (whereas if he asked Sapphiron, it would have been related to her parents giving her an allowance perhaps).

Ah shoot, Wintermoot was my number 2 guess. The reason I was voting for Chanku was because his most of his questions and answers seemed like they were based of things other people had already said. Also, the last two questions I asked were attempts to trip him up and he didn't quite answer them with what I was expecting someone in the know would say. What I was expecting was some allusion to central park being surrounded by a city, but the snow comment seemed like it was just something based off someone else's answer.

I think Hugsim, Sapphiron and Reon had all answered things in a way that made it obvious they knew what was going on. Sapphiron's opening question was really good I thought, as it wasn't something the spy would ask but didn't give much away.

I'm curious to see where Wintermoot thought we might have been.

No you're not.  I just made a little error apparently.    I added Ater to the list, but apparently it didn't add him, so I was always under the impression throughout the rest of the game that there were only 6 players.

My bad.

Actually, I never had a clue where we were specifically...the closest I'd gotten was a town or city in the winter. My primary strategy was to lay low and hope someone else would appear suspicious, and that person was Chanku in the end...in fairness, his repeating the same questions and generic answers made it understandable. I would have thought he was the spy too if I hadn't already known for a fact that he wasn't.

Wintermoot, do you like the horses?
I thought this was going to be the shortest game ever when this was the very first question. Knowing the location and roles, I'm still not sure what horses Sapphiron's talking about here, but I suppose it threw me off by making me think it was in the past or perhaps in a rural town.

By this point it had become obvious that the weather was horrible, so it made sense to not want to go swimming here.

And again, it had become obvious what the weather was, and knowing that I like cold snowy weather this was easy to answer.
