The Wonderful World of Wintreath

Aubery's tavern has given me an idea...what if we had an area where people could develop their regional characters and roleplay them across various Wintrean locations? This would be a forum with topics for each location (like the tavern), where people could go in-character and interact. We've never had anything like that in the region before, but the Tavern has been one of the most active topics this week and has drawn plenty of people...and it's fun, too.

I could even add something to profiles eventually to include an in-character tab, so people can look up information on each person's characters.

Can visitors drift through and spend a week at the inn?  Or whatever the equivalent is here in Wintreath.

It would be in the cultural area, so non-Citizens would be able to access it.

That raises a good question though...aren't most inns at the tavern in the fantasy setting?

How about it be set in a realm where all events are current yet unfamiliar or ancient...

So sci-fi, modern day, and fantasy can all co exist in the present.

I've always thought about Wintreath as a perceptually bound place...

Based on the Wintreath Chronicles, our official setting is fantasy with steampunk elements. I don't see why people from other backgrounds can't come in be part of the world and introduce their own elements.

I like this idea.  To add to it since it's called the wonderful World of Wintreath, what about characters being able to travel to the different nations in the region?  It'd be intriguing to see how others would react in another's nations...for example if the president of PD decided to take a trip to the Winter Nomad.

To be honest we could probably make each nation or whatever something like a district, state, or borough. Except they have their own laws and stuff as long as it doesn't conflict with Wintrean law.

Also I tend to think of Wintreath as a mix of fantasy and modern times. Also keep in mind that time would have passed since the Wintreath Chronicles were done. So this could be used to explain discrepancies between the two. Although I wouldn't mind it being a light RP that mixes standard Wintreath and RP Wintreath (we could also do two separate ones, obviously one just with RP Wintreath and the other a mix of regular Wintreath and RP Wintreath.)

Although this could also be interesting if other regions were to being to participate, thus allowing characters to visit other regions...although this is merely an idea.
