As has been discussed occasionally, something I would like to implement in the future is a regional currency so that all of us can grow our piles of money and use it to realize our dreams...or something like that. The smallest problem with this? We don't have a name for our currency...nothing to set our wonderful future currency out from the drab currencies used by other regions. This problem must be tackled!

To do so I will depend on the creativity of our Citizens and introduce a contest to determine the name of our future currency. This topic is for nominations for names, which will be voted on in a future topic. The name with the most votes will become the name we use.

So yeah...post your currency name ideas here!

Here are some name's I've come up with

• Winter-Dollar
• Snow-Dollar
• Winter-Flake
• The God King's Currency
• Snowflake
• Frozen-Dollar
• Frozen-Flake

I had mentioned this in another thread before, but I think a play on Bitcoins would be nice, calling them Frostcoins.

Other choices could be:

*Coollion (a play on Boullion)
*Polarion
*Cicions (Sick-ee-ons.  Taken from Icicles)
*Brumalions (Brumal meaning "Wintry")
*Gelions (Jel-ee-ons.  Coming from Gelid, meaning "Icy/very cold")

The names for the currencies in all the Nordic countries (except for Finland) is "Krona" if anyone wants to come up with some kind of pun based on that.

If it's not too late, though I suspect it is. Perhaps Neige Franc or as Hugsim mentioned that most nordic countries with the exception of Finland they use Krone/Krona.
