You're not enjoying the winter wonderland?

"It does require some acclimating, of course."

"But once you get used to it everywhere else seems too warm. You simply cannot win." I say sipping on some Irish breakfast.

Why would anyone want to go to a warmer location? The way I see it, we have it made!

-chuckles- Heh -sips my tea again-

*Quickly enters and shuts the door behind him to keep the freezing winds out*

The air hurts my face...Why do I live where the air hurts my face...

*looks around and notices a small gathering of people*

Oh! I seem to have interrupted. My apologies.

*the changeling realizes she was telling her story to a pile of sandwiches instead of her friends*

Uhhh...did anyone hear any of that? the changeling asks the group.

*Looks at the Queen of the horde*

Not a word deary, but than again I space out far to often to be a good source to ask... Did you notice how shiny my taps are!

*Make a cup of coco for the new arrival to the tavern*

QUESTION!

Did the tavern get moved? I swear it used to be in the dumping grounds. I can barely find it under all the sub categories now, I had to search it LOL.

I actually did listen to the story, and it is quite riveting! Though that leads to the question...how are there still changelings if all the males are gone? Are the current changelings the ones the original ones that survived, did they use some sort of cloning or genetic technology, or did some of them become males like some frogs can when there are no males?

So you remember the part about wither mist? the changeling asks winter.

"Come on in, SC, have a seat by the fire.  The orange one, not the green one."

Pengu stumbles towards the bar with an empty drink in his hand.

"Barkeep.  I think someone put something in my drink.  I feel all woozy."

Pengu starts to stumble, but is helped up by someone nearby and taken to a chair.

"This is what happens when you leave for a minute to use the restroom."  He says as he looks towards the person who is making sure he's okay.  "Did I ever tell you how cute you are?"

*gasps at the state of Pengu and looks around suspiciously...*

Well there are only a handful of us in this here tavern and it wasn't me... Are you sure you are not just a light weight and get drunk super easy?

*rushes over to the wobbly customer and guides them safely to a chair by the fire, keeping them in eyesight of everyone in the tavern*

No one is going to kidnap you on my watch!!!

* Wintermoot raises an eyebrow at the scene going on before him, half in shock and half in amusement.

I would say he's just a light weight...he's so goody-goody two-shoes it wouldn't surprise me at all!
