Out of curiosity, what is MT and FanT?
MT is modern tech, i.e. present day technology, culture, resources, etc. FanT is fantasy tech, including elements of the supernatural or mythological.
Out of curiosity, what is a "Natural?" Also, how do individual players fit into the RP world? Do we play as foot soldiers? Politicians? Naturals?
In my nation, a "Natural" refers to a magical being that possesses the innate power to control and influence nature. While other nations in NS have Elementals, Naturals possess unique qualities that seperate them from other magical beings. Some have the ability to control and manipulate the elements, some can influence nature itself (life cycles, biological and mental changes in plants, trees and animals) while some can even bend the weather to their will.
Players are introduced to this world through a basic backdrop that has built the current order of events, and the eventual shift in the balance of power. Unlike the previous Wars, Humans have found themselves in the crossfire, due to Humanity encroaching onto the Arukkai' (semi)natural habitat through immigration and tourism. Because of this, a new plot has arose in the agenda of the Dark Naturals, who currently dispute Humanity's presence in their land, and the current Light Natural Government currently in power.
As players of individuals or as Nations, you are a witness of the dramatic turn of events as various Human Governments struggle to piece together who is friend or foe.
You do however have the option to play on either side, as a Light Natural, Dark Natural or any government and party that seeks to intervene. As the Dark Naturals emerge from their millennia long hiding, negotiations and diplomacy may be used to influence the turn of events, but they only have on objective. To obliterate the Light Naturals and any who stand in their path.
