I hereby introduce this act on behalf of His Most Royal Majesty, Wintermoot I of Wintreath.

The Persona Non Grata Act

1) This Act shall be cited as the Persona Non Grata Act.

Restrictions of the Persona Non Grata Status

2) No person who is currently declared persona non grata may be granted Citizenship, ambassadorship, or any other status which the Government of Wintreath has authority to confer.

3) It shall be further requested that administration place a ban on any person who has been declared persona non grata that attempts to join any Wintreath property.

Declarations and Revocations of Status

4) The Monarch shall have the authority to declare any non-Citizen persona non grata and to revoke previous persona non grata declarations of the Monarch.

5) The Storting shall have the authority to declare any non-Citizen persona non grata and to revoke previous persona non grata declarations of the Storting through a majority vote of both chambers.

Redundant Provisions

6) Upon passage of this Act, Section 2.3 of the Citizenship and Demonym Act shall be void.

The motion to extend the debate for 72 has been recognised, a new motion will be needed 3 days after the second was posted.

Mr Speaker,

I believe that the person declared PNG shall be given a reason for their status, and to find an avenue of appeal if they choose.  This bill does not do anything in that regard, and it could be possibly abused, in its current form.

Do any of my colleagues have any thoughts?
