See what I did there? Mwahaha.

With the end of this years Zombie Apocalypse event in sight, I'm curious to know how everyone thought it went. We had a lot of participation, both from Citizens and residents of the region, and I'm sure there are a lot of ideas on how we can improve for next year.

I think we did great. Next year we definately should start with the "just below 100 million" -strategy, we wasted a lot of missiles curing those last scattered walkers. We could also prepare a list of largest nations in advance, that way we can maximize our productivity and stop the outbreak quicker.

I agree...I really liked the 100 million strategy we adopted in the Vanguard. It was a good balance between keeping the zombie population down while we researched the cure and not wasting time getting them to zero. I think listing nations by population is also a good idea, and will look at scripting that before next Halloween.

One thing I would like to do is resurrect Twilight's Sentinel much earlier next year. I think it was a good idea, but we started it the day before the event and then everyone was focused on NS fighting zombies so it wasn't used as much as it could have been. I would have loved to have more Halloween/zombie general discussions.

I'm a little surprised we beat out 10KI considering they're more than double the size of us.  But somehow we managed to make it to 26th, and they at 43rd.  We must have been more active with it.    It was an interesting event again, though.  I'm glad I got to play with it a bit more this time.

I believe XKI got raided early on for a few hours by nations spreading hordes, whereas in Wintreath they were promptly banjected.

All I did was eject and ban nations that were exporting zombies and help launch cure missiles, but thanks.
