This is just an idea that was in the back of my mind for future consideration and reference.

Description: The Great Snowball Fight would be a weekly forum/site event based around posting. When someone made a post, they would receive a snowball whose colour would depend on the area they posted in: blue for cultural areas, red for any general discussion forums, yellow (don't eat!) for the spam forum, and black for government areas. The goal would be to win in one of the categories:

Most Snowballs: The person with the most overall snowballs that week would win in this category.
Most of a Colour: The person with the most snowballs of any certain colour would win in this category.
Highest Distributed: The person with the most snowballs evenly distributed in each category. For example, if I had 4 red, 4 blue, 5 yellow, and 2 black, my score would be 2 for the purposes of this category.

Additionally, players would be able to trade in some of their snowballs for cards that would allow them to take certain actions, such as being able to melt another player's snowballs, or steal snowballs for yourself from another player.

Any comments or suggestion on this idea would be appreciated.

So we'd have a currency and reward system based around snowballs? Alright... I mean it's not too far off from what we've talked about before with the currency stuff.

It's completely separate from a currency system. Snowballs would just be for this minigame.

I think that this would be an interesting and fun way to get more people posting on the forum, and certainly pretty fun!
