Alright so you are probably wondering, why the fuck am I running if I resigned? Well, in reality, I'm only running to oppose Gov, that's it. Although I'm also going to say that you probably shouldn't vote for me, although should I somehow win this, then I will try and introduce the bills into the Underhusen I promised I would do, and try not to fuck up again.

You were recalled from office because people lost faith in you and how do you expect to regain their trust?  Didn't you also say you would be gone for a few days after you tried resigning?

This is true. At the official ruling of Wintermoot, the recall was successful 13 seconds before your resignation.

However, here is the thing, this is what wintermoot said,

After reviewing the Fundamental Laws, I have determined that Chanku was successfully recalled, and that this recall occurred before his resignation. Usually, during a recall election the incumbent being challenged would remain a member of the Underhusen with all rights and responsibilities until the conclusion of the election, but because he resigned afterwards he can no longer be considered a member.

Thus, although he was successfully recalled, the resulting election is to fill his vacancy due to his resignation.

Please note the last statement,

This election is technically because of my resignation, and while the recall was successful, he decided this election is NOT due to the recall but due to my resignation.

Thus my resignation wasn't an attempt, and I didn't try to resign, but I did and successfully resigned.

So I did resign, and I did not 'try' as Govindia put it.

I'll echo this as well.

From what I've seen so far, you:

1) Attempted to bring into legislature something that would overstep something that was established to be an Executive power.
2) Argued with the Monarch himself on the same issue.
3) Disregarded a citizen's protests, even though you were voted to represent him AND listen to him (no one citizen is more or less important than another).
4) Had a recall thread posted about you because of said actions and possibly more that built up to it.
5) Posted a resignation thread stating, and I quote:

First off I must apologize to everyone, especially those that voted for me, for the events that occurred today. I know realize that perhaps me being in the Underhusen was a mistake, and it seems that I am not wanted in the Underhusen Anymore.

Therefor I resign, both as Speaker and as Skrifa from the Underhusen. This is probably the best for me, and everyone. Hopefully one day I will be better, more mature, and be able to handle myself better and then I can be your Speaker, your Skrifa, your Representative, but sadly that day is not today, and it may never happen.

Stating that it was possibly best for you and everyone that you weren't in the Underhusen and indicated that being in it was a mistake.

And 6) After Wintermoot's ruling, despite all of the theatrics that you had posted earlier, decided to re-run for Underhusen.

So echoing Point Breeze's post, you've given no reason for the voters to trust you, so what do you hope to gain by re-running?

I'll also add that running just to oppose the other candidate is a poor reason.  You're running simply because you want to give the other guy competition, and are even telling people not to vote for you?  Then what's the point of even running in the first place?

To be honest I don't expect to be re-elected or to even have the trust of the citizens, again there probably won't be much competition, if any, besides I know I won't win this, so in reality I'm not sure why I'm even running in the first place, if not just because of the fact I have nothing else to do.

How do you feel about your current circumstances? I suspect there's some hints as to why you're running there.
