Lol. Not really any particular meaning. Just a play on Sierra Leone, and the Godfather. I like the movie The Godfather. When I originally started playing NS seriously, I had this whole plan to write up a back story about the government being controlled by the mafia, but I never got around to really developing that. And 6-years-ago me thought it was funny.

  • So, a question? Hmm.

Would you rather do something that made you a lot of money, but you hated, or something that helped you barely get by, but you loved?

  • Hmm. If I had to choose one extreme, I'd probably pick lots of money at something I hate. Yea, my job would suck, but I could retire much earlier and use my accrued wealth for other projects that interest me. Besides, given adequate resources to start a business or company or whatever, who is to say I couldn't make lots of money doing that?

  • It's a nice evening right now, so I think it would be appropriate to give into my vice and sit outside with a glass of whiskey and a good cigar.

  • Do you enjoy the actual nation/politics simulation aspect of NS - engaging in debates, regional gameplay, drafting laws, etc., or do you prefer stuff like character RP, offsite regional forums such as this one, and meeting people from the game in a non-political atmosphere?

Whiskey and cigar sounds great right now - too bad it's 9:45 AM

I actually enjoy a little bit of both. If i didn't like the nation/politics aspect of NS, I wouldn't be here. :P

I've never been quite good at the character RP aspect. I a few ideas for how I want to develop stories, I just have a hard time getting started, and getting everything down coherently.

But I would have to say my favorite part meeting people in a non-game atmosphere. The last time I was seriously on NS and involved in a region, I met a person from Ireland. Not that I didn't like anyone else in that region, and not that I didn't develop a good report with anyone else, but that person was probably one of the few people from the game I would say was a friend. I really like that the game allows you to meet people you would never have otherwise had the opportunity to get to know, even if you never met them in person.
