  • You lost me. But okay. I'll be happy to talk to you privately as well. Or take note in my campaign thread where I vaguely outlined my ideas.

  • There might be a good argument for why the votes of the OH aren't public, but I can't come up with it. I would be grateful if someone could tell me why.
The votes of the Overhusen are public.

  • I have a strict policy on revealing my legislation ideas. I'll be happy to talk to you privately.

There is no need to hide anything at all, other than if you plan to deceive the electorate.

So you are standing on a platform of what exactly?

  • Mwhahaha Umm, I mean, no. Of course not. I have my reasons for doing what I do, just as everyone does.

Again, in my campaign thread I outlined two specific things I wish to work on, and of course teamwork is always needed and I plan to work with my fellow Skrifas to get 5 laws passed this term, and I have a personal goal of 3.

  • I have to echo the concerns of Amalya and Stark.

The purpose of an election is to consider people's ideas and things they intend to do if they win. To decline to publicly discuss those ideas implies that they're controversial and will likely end up costing the candidate votes if they're made public. I hope that isn't the case, but that's the implication I get.

  • I guess I will be throwing away votes then. Am I being too cautious? Maybe. But I've learned too much to publicly announce everything I plan to do.

Where are they then? I can't see anything in the OH-part of the forum.

  • Is it concerns that other Skrifa will try to introduce your legislation, or is it as Wintermoot has said, that you know it to be controversial?

It is utterly foolish to vote for such secrecy, and I hope my fellow Wintreans see it as such as well.

As you say, it is your decision.

In terms of your other ideas, they might be in the campaign thread, but can you say them here too? It is a debate. Thanks.

Sure! Here is what I said:
I have an idea in my head as to a bill which involves the Riksrad (I can't do that accenty thingy :( )of I'd say large importance but I need to conduct further research and it may take a while for it to be fully written and good to present.

I also have an idea in changing the judicial process slightly.

Hmm...for some reason only former Citizens and admins could access it. That wasn't intentional. ;-; Should be fixed now.

Also...just kinda have to point out that the Riksråd isn't really part of the Storting's purview...

  • It's honestly very small, sort of... I trust His Majesty the Monarch very well, but I don't particularly like how he chooses someone "at random" from a group He appointed. Now it just may be me, and I haven't ever seen this in system in practice, but in theoretic, I could see it being bad. So I am still thinking of the best solution to the problem, and will definitely work with the other Skrifas to see what they think, and of course what the Citizenry thinks.

One thing I am big on is Citizen involvement. In my past regions I have always pushed for more Citizen involvement in law making, especially since you elect us to be your voice.
