Hello, some of you may know me, most of you probably don't.  For those who don't know, I'm Applebania. I've been here for quite a bit now but I've mainly been IRC lurking.  Anyways, on to the actual campaign.

I'm not going to make a massive manifesto or anything. I'm going to get the job done. If I see anything glaringly missing from our laws, I'll write a law to cover that. I will get laws that I feel are good for Wintreath to the Overhusen, and try my damnedest to make sure that bad legislation never makes it there. I want there to be a massively productive Underhusen in my term, and there will be if I have anything to say about it.

What do you feel is "glaringly missing" from Wintreath's laws?

Fundamental laws of Wintreath, Article V, Section 3:

"Citizens shall have the right to a fair trail"

I would rectify it by trying to amend the Fundamental Laws so that the King can correct typos in the constitution without having to go through the storting and citizens. (Though to be fair, Article 2, Section 6 states that "The Monarch shall have the authority to issue decrees in relation to all matters." *mulls over*)

The more serious one which I noticed was that the Code of Criminal Laws currently has no provision criminalizing Forum Destruction. In the unlikely event that we end up bringing in someone deep enough in the douchebaggery to destroy forums, we're going to need that. I would rectify it by trying to pass an amendment to the code, well, criminalising it.

A nice start in reading through and identifying additions you wish to make to the law.

I still recall the last time someone tried to make forum destruction illegal...when Cormac tried to push it through Spiritus' Regional Assembly in a rage after Tim and I invited Zaolat to join Spiritus.

Wouldn't you agree that many have tried to use forum destruction laws and treaties as a political weapon against people who took regrettable actions that most people wouldn't classify as forum destruction?

What do you see as Wintreath's Greatest Strengths?

Indeed, people have politicised pretty much everything in NS, including forum destruction. However, one of the advantages of Wintreath is that it has far, far less of that petty bullshit in it than most regions.

I'll be logging on more than once daily, on average.

But how will you be more active and how will you become more involved with the community? I don't think it's any secret that you've been more involved with other places in your time on NS, and activity isn't just logging in or even just posting.
