It'll be all weekend.

I just realised that I completely forgot which day it was, and that I'll be available tonight for the game. I thought that it was Saturday yesterday, which would mean that I was away duringt he game, but it is infact Saturday today, when I'm home.

Any ideas when to resume the latest game @Wintermoot @HannahB and @Govindia?

I have work tomorrow and I assume most people do... but when do you all get off, just in case? 

Failing that next weekend should be OK... hopefully it goes better than the other attempt... 

It's stored with the other games we were going to finish at some point.

I liked the game, but to be honest I'd rather start a new game with the turn timer. The turns ran way too long in this game, and to be honest it was beyond frustrating to wait five-ten minutes for turns. I consider it my fault for not enabling them to start with, but...yeah. I just feel like without the timer this game is going to run for a very long time.

Yeah, a turn timer would allow the game to progress much faster... In three hours we just got to Renaissance.

Although I have really good placement now than that game, I think that starting a new one would go faster next weekend, so I'm with Wintermoot about starting a new game w/ a turn timer.

The war of the continents would have been a no-brainer.

OK, in that case, you can just delete the old game Wintermoot

And we'll start a new game next week... this time with a turn timer!

I was also thinking maybe using a Pangea or archipelago map... as normally on them it is easier to find all the other players early on, what do you guys think? 

I think either of those maps sound great.

the animations don't slow down the game.  I have not seen gameplay increase.  i want it on please
