I'm curious...what are people's thoughts about an ability to lower one's negative karma? If this were implemented at all it would probably either be a donator's perk or given out on some special basis. Note that this would not remove negative karma from posts, only from users.

I think that's a great idea. But how exactly would one be able to 'donate' someone's negative karma away?

Donate money, and one of the admins can lower your negative karma. I have this cool little area on the admin panel to do that

  I doubt people would donate money just to lower their negative karma. I believe it's more for serving as a token of appreciation for helping Wintreath.

Sapphiron is right...this is more about finding ways to reward people already donating than trying to get more people to donate. It may also tie into a future regional currency, if we ever adopted such a thing.

I get that message if I try to negatively add Karma to someone, regardless of what post it pertains to.
