  • How does introducing term limits for the Underhusen benefit Wintreath?
Simple this way we allow new members to run for Underhusen and help promote new players to take it up. It also gives former Skrifa a chance at reconnecting with the problems, as after a while you can get 'disconnected'.
I'm not sure I understand how the current setup doesn't allow for this. Anybody can run, if your platform is strong enough, you'll get elected whether your opponents are brand new, or they are the ten time incumbent.

This is mainly to allow new people a greater chance, along with keeping people 'in touch' with Wintreath. The limits themselves will allow someone to run again, but only after a set period of time. Also I previously promised this, but never really did it so I plan on doing it this time.
    See you later space cowboy.

People have the same chance as always though. The election is based on a politicians campaign, and platform. If anyone, incumbent or challenger, has a weak platform, they won't get elected. There's no reason to place arbitrary limits. Don't you think that it could hamper activity?

It could however I feel like it could potentially help new people feel like they have a chance. Hell people may be elected several times in a row and new users may feel like they will never get elected, or have a small chance, and thus not run. Although this will not affect any past Skrifa, or the Session of Sorting in which the limits were passed.

  • I'm curious...you are currently the only incumbent to have lost a reelection campaign (last election). How have you grown from this, and what have you learned now that you're running to return to the Underhusen?
