My friends...

Is this website actually allowing us to use HTML...I can certainly create a poll for the voting period...where everybody can cast his vote
Perhaps I've placed this topic on the wrong area..don't shoot

This was not actually my question mate... I know that Moot takes care of that...but why not creating a poll and just ppl vote rathen than cast names etc

Because well that's how it's typically done, also I think polls might be harder to monitor as well. Plus people can't really choose their vote to be public or private, so generally all votes would have to be public or private(if that's how polls are done on this site).

Well I know, I think it will be easier for Moot and the rest of us, to know the actual results...I can create polls from which ppl can choose whether they want to vote public or private...You know give a bit of democracy to the votes also..So there will be no hurt feelings and to give it a bit of technolodgical advancement In case other will like it also, of course

Also I think moots wants to obfuscate the outcomes with the possibility of private votes.

We could do polls through the forums here if we wanted. However, doing it this way is standard in most NS regions due to the greater possibility of an admin altering a poll to reflect the outcome that he or she wants.

I like the traditional aye, nay, abstain in public. With no possibility to vote in confidence.
I mean could you ever imagine an instance which you would vote 'abstain' in private?

What's not fair about public voting?

Well voting in an election should be a citizen's right and I shouldn't have to tell everyone who I want to vote for. Pretty simple really.
