Speaking of replies, I don't see a reply option in some of the forums, like the military application page. Is that because my status as a citizen hasn't been confirmed? Just curious.

Yes.

As an applicant, sadly, you may only reply in the General Category Forums but are able to view other forums.

Just wait for Wintermoot, Denth Kasten, or Alterra to either grant you citizenship or double approve your application.
