Hello everyone! It's been such a great first term for my WA Delegacy. I've increased WA activity in the region (with much help from Mr. Durnil) and created a full-fledged WA Dispatch for citizens new and old to see, as well as new, updated dispatches for all areas of Wintreath (not exactly my job but y'know... I was bored)
1) Why are you running for this position?
I'm running for this position again because I can keep the ball rolling. WA reforms were slated to happen this past term, but sadly so much has been happening due to the Durnil surge that our priorities shifted elsewhere.
2) What do you aim to accomplish as thane? As part of this, you must include at least one thing that you promise to do beyond the minimum listed duties of the position during your term. It should be measurable, so that it's black and white whether you fulfilled this mandate at the end of the term if you are elected.
Well a couple things I've wanted to get done since I was elected the first time are starting up a WA voting bloc and becoming a recognized name in the WA community, but my main concern right now is ensuring that our WA activity remains stable to a point where we could even have sway in that department.
Additionally, as I said before, I want to get WA reforms implemented, but that requires coordination by multiple people and thusfar we have had other duties to perform. Don't worry, it will happen!
I also want to make better polls this term, because the ones I've put out this term are pretty shoddy. I might start a system like they have in TRR where citizens can go through a process to suggest polls.
2a) If you are an incumbent running for re-election, did you fulfill your mandate from the March election? If not, why didn't you?
I did fulfill my mandate, and I will explain how:
I have made recommendations on all but a couple WA resolutions (I've been slacking this past week but it's a temporary bump caused by my one summer class, I assure y'all). I have also racked up about 170 endorsements, the most of any delegate in this region's history. In fact, even without the video I would have had 90 or so, still the most ever!
I like to think I represent Wintreath in my WA communications and not just my enormous quite modest ego. I've only broken rank with the populace once, and it was on a particularly bad WA resolution that I knew would have been bad for everyone.
3) What qualifications or experience do you have in the area that you are running in?
Aside from the full term's worth of experience as Delegate here in Wintreath, I also have experience as the WA Delegate in Cynosure, where I served for... I want to say 6 months.
4) How do you plan to have the time to fulfill the duties of the position until the next election in September?
I'm going to have plenty of time, seeing as my class load will only be 3 courses worth in the fall. I've made time thusfar, why wouldn't I be able to in the future?
5) Are you currently a part of any other NationStates regional or organizational government? If so, please include those regions and positions.
I am not currently a part of any other government.
