No.

Section II: Interests
There are many things that you can get involved with here in Wintreath, both to help the region and just for fun! Based on your answers to the questions below, we will help you get involved in any aspect of the region that you're interested in so you can hit the ground running fast. Indicating interest here does not commit you to joining any aspect of the region, but will help us guide you to where you want to be here.

1) Are you interested in being part of our regional military?
I might want to be a defender later, once I learn more about the NationStates "combat" system in general.
2) Are you interested in forum roleplays (character, national, etc)?
I'm not sure. I might want to be later.
3) Are you interested in playing in our Minecraft server?
Yes.
4) Are you interested in general region-wide games, such as Civilization V? If so, what games would you like to see?
Yes, although I can't think of any games other than Civ V right now. I'll have to get the DLC, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
5) Are you interested in regional politics (elections, running for legislature, writing bills, etc.)?
Not really, although I might be once I learn more about it.
6) Are you interested in general community discussions?
I'm not sure, but it sounds fun.
7) Are you interested in serving as a diplomat or an ambassador to another region?
No.
Are you interested in regional journalism (writing articles for inclusion in regional publications)?
No.
9) Are you interested in creating graphics for the regional website?
No.
10) If you have any other interests you'd like to pursue in the region, please tell us about them! We can make just about anything happen as long as people are interested in doing it.

My name is Arthancarict (not my real name, obviously), and I play video games a lot and I like cats. I like TES and Fallout a lot, although I just got the ability to play them, so I haven't played many yet (just Skyrim and Fallout 4 so far). I also play Civ V, but I'm pretty sure I'm terrible at it. I also play Minecraft and World of Warcraft. I play other games too, just not as much. I don't really have any questions right now.

Our Civ games are usually Saturdays at 4PM Eastern...you can find all the details about that here. You can also find the connection information for our Minecraft server here. To be honest the MC server can be a little inactive at times, but I try to get on for at least some time each day. Everything else...well, just look around and join in anywhere you'd like!

Unrelated, do you play the official WoW servers? How is the game nowadays? Is it worth paying the subscription? I'm wanting to get back into a MMO, but so far my attempts have been disappointing. =/

Thanks for letting me in. I do use the official servers. I think it's a pretty fun game, and probably worth paying the subscription for.

I played private servers back in the TBC/WotLK days...I've always hesitated doing a subscription though, and I've heard a lot of bad changes they've made to the official since. Do you know anything about changes between then and now?

I actually only got WoW in MoP, so I don't really know about any major changes.

Interesting...I wonder how many current players are from the old times and how many are newer. Still, I guess that gives me more to think about...thanks.
