Just opened! Experimental.

permissions are borked

Disabled the permission plugin. I'm not sure it's really needed at this point anyways, but I'll try to look at it again later. Also made it so that creepers don't blow chunks in the landscape, although they're otherwise as deadly as ever.

Any thoughts on the world seed? I spent an hour or two finding one I thought was appropriate for Wintreath.

Just logged in to test it (and download an update I didn't know I needed, whoops!). I can't access anything and am unable to interact with the terrain (tried smacking something with the stone items I spawned in with; got the message "you do not have the permissions to interact with log" and "you do not have the permissions to use [insert item here]").

But the world is quite lovely! c:

Well, damn lol. It's hard to test it when you're the op/admin and have all the permissions. I just tried something new so let me know if it works when you have a chance.

Found a Youtube video detailing the problems I'm having in-game and how to fix them. You can skip to about 1:14, as that's where the person starts saying how to fix the issue. They say it's for PEX, but a commentor states that it worked for other permission plugins as well.

We just got rid of that permissions mod and reinstalled the entire server.

So glad to hear we've got Minecraft back!

So how many people are actually using the server? Everytime I've been on, it's just me building away on my ownsome

Same here; I suppose we get on at differing time-zones? As of late, though, I've only been able to log on to make sure everything's still where I left it and to craft a few pieces of glass. My poor, glorious abode will take some time, haha.

To my knowledge Chanku, Reon, and myself are also on the server. I would guess we're just all getting on at different times. =/

Does anybody object to me building a sort of centre/tower/hall thing by the spawn point. I thought it might be a good idea, and we could fill it with useful craft items/cobble etc to help new users get started.
It could also be a good point for people to expand on etc, sort of a community hall type thing. Let me know your thoughts?

To be honest I'd rather nothing be built at spawn.
