  • So, given wintermoot posted his Club idea, and this was somewhat developed off of that, here is a law I wrote. It's basically a form of the "Club" idea, but expanded a bit more.

    The law itself

    Title
    1. This act is to be referred to as the Organizations and Charters Act.

    Charters
    2. Charters are the foundational documents for any organization within Wintreath seeking to obtain recognition from the Government of Wintreath, in order to aid the development of Wintreath. Such charters are to be granted by the government of Wintreath.
    3. Any organizations that organize under a charter are granted the right to use the Judicial System of Wintreath to enforce the Charter internally and amongst its members. Additionally, an organization that has a charter may be granted certain privileges, authorities, powers, and/or monopolies in certain areas.
3.1 Any Organization seeking to grant powers under the power of the Monarchy -- such as within the Fundamental Laws or through other relevant law -- must obtain the approval of the Monarch as well as that of the Storting.
    4. In order for a Charter to be granted it must be approved by the Storting through the charter itself being passed through both chambers through the normal legislative means.
4.1 If any relevant law requires the approval of the Monarch, it may occur prior to or after the approval of the Storting.
    5. A Charter must be renewed every six (6) months by the authorities that approved it, in accordance with this act.
    6. A Charter may be revoked at any time by any authority that approved the Charter, should the Organization fail to meet its duties, fail to act in the public good, or for any other reason. Additionally, a court may revoke a Charter as well.
    7. An Organization which fails to renew the Charter prior to its expiration or that has its Charter revoked is to lose any additional privileges, authorities, powers, and/or monopolies unless granted.
    8. Charters are to be laid out in accordance with relevant law, if any exists, prior to consideration by any authority.

    Organizations
    9. Organizations are required to make their Charter public, in addition to ensuring they serve the common good.
    10. An Organization may willingly disband, in accordance with any procedures laid out in the Charter should they exist, provided they publicly disclose their disbandment, and inform the Storting. Upon dissolution, the Charter is considered to have been Revoked.
    11. An Organization which has a Charter may be sued.

    Title
    1. This act is to be referred to as the Organizations and Charters Act[.] Missing Period.

3.1 Any Organization seeking to grant powers under the power of the Monarchy such as within the Fundamental Laws or through other relevant law must obtain the approval of the Monarch as well as that of the Storting. Gotta use either two hyphens or a bigger dash. Also, there's an extra space between the last dash and "must" in the original.
    6. A Charter may be revoked at any time by any authority that approved the Charter[,] should the Organization fail to meet its duties, fail to act in the public good, or for any other reason. Additionally, a court may revoke a Charter as well.
    7. An Organization which fails to renew the Charter prior to its expiration or that has its Charter revoked[,] is to lose any additional privileges, authorities, powers, and/or monopolies unless granted.

    11. An Organization, which has a Charter, may be sued.
I recommend removing the commas in [11] since the middle bit's not removable from the sentence.
Also in [4] the triple use of "through" mildly muddles the reading of it. The sentence could work if rephrased into multiple sentences, or removing some unnecessary words, but I'm sleep deprived at the moment so somebody needs to double check my work.
