Technically these are the last week's worth of updates that didn't get reported because I fell ill with the stomach flu.
New ImagesThe new images that Milograd made showing the status of forums and topics have been uploaded! Thanks Milo!
Law SectionThe site now has a section dedicated to laws that have been passed in the region, which you can find at the top of any page on the main navbar. The main page will display all of our laws, and clicking on them will reveal the text of the law. Additionally, for laws that required passage by the Storting, you can toggle between the text of the law and a summary of how each member of the Storting voted on that Act. At the moment it's very basic, but I hope to add more to it when I have more time.
This replaces the Great Tome of Law forum, which previously housed the text of all our laws.
New Anti-bot MeasuresThe war on spambots continues! The registration page now includes a simple random math problem that must be answered in order for the account to be registered. Additionally, if it takes too many attempts for them to correctly fill out the form and answer the verification question, they'll be locked out of registration and will need to contact me to be unlocked, if it's a legit user. I hope in the future any admin will be able to unlock registration, but we're being lax on the number of tries, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Adding a math problem isn't really great bot-thwarting since the bot could be reprogrammed to solve the math problem, but it should thwart the generic, widely-circulating forum spambots that are just looking to get through default registration pages.
