I did receive a telegram, and i am sorry, but i really can't remember who sent it.

You can find all the Chronicles stuff (and light RP interaction) here in the Wonderful World of Wintreath. I think @Weissreich has been more involved in that stuff, so he might have more advice and getting started help for you, too. Be sure to check out the rest of the forum though! We have a lot of great discussions and things to do...either way, hope to see you around.

Great to see another person who's interested in the cultural side of our fine region - I see you've already found the right subforum for posting in, which is great There isn't really all that much to say; you can post up whatever you want, be it creatures of Wintreath, cities and landmarks (there's a thread for that here, though it's got a theme/style that you should aim to stick to roughly), technology... Whatever you come up with and think might fit into the regional lore and culture, fire away!

If you're interested in working within an already established setting, I am and have been for quite a while in the process of constructing a definitive 'Wintrean' lore for a House-based RP that's soon to begin. You are, of course, allowed to create your own lore (for example, in the lore I'm working on Wintreath is a NATION, not a region, and citizens are actual citizens of that nation rather than countries in their own right), but have a read of the Establishment of Setting thread and see if you like what I've been doing.

Aside from that, there's not really much else to add! We've got several RP's currently running (you can find them in the Gathering Portal subforum) and the House RP signups are still open if you want to check that out here and create a character here.

I'll leave it to others to point you in the direction of their RP's, though I'm sure that now you know where to look you can find them yourselves I hope you enjoy your time here, and have fun roleplaying and writing to your hearts content!

Shall get around to MPC when I'm not swamped! As for Wintreath, it's a continent on a fictional planet, no relation to Earth, 1.1g standard and 25 hour days.

I always assumed Wintreath was just a massive continent that took up most of the planet.

Does that mean there's possibly undiscovered continents out there that could be explored in future RPs?

Aye.  New Hyperion is on one of them (theoretically)!!! We have COOKIES there too!!

It's in part to allow the other ongoing RP's and their maps to fit in without actually canonising them for the House/EoS stuff, as I wouldn't want to presume that of their respective authors But in part, yeah; where do you think the Vergemal and Hunt Clan came from?

As for the opportunities of exploring other lands, it certainly exists. Wintreath being as big as it is does discourage travel abroad (think how a lot of Americans never leave America, much to their detriment) and its cultural and geographical diversity mean that if you want to experience X, you probably can without having to go look for it across treacherous seas (and the many storms that mar them) or risking your life going North, or going south and risking 'Spiritian' aggression.
