The Underhusen elections are now over! Ultimately 23 ballots were cast, which is the highest number of votes cast since last October, which also had 23 votes, and for that I think everyone should be congratulated. I thought most of the candidates ran strong and reasonable campaigns, and we had a lot of people tune into this election. I have to admit, I had some difficulty in choosing between candidates...but the community overall did choose and has spoken, and here are the results:

01 - Govindia

Congratulations to the winners, and really to everyone again. And for those that didn't win, I thought most of you ran good, strong campaigns, and I hope that you remain active in the region and continue to contribute to the region...and of course, try again next time.

While I am disappointed I did not get in, I do congratulate those that did.

And of course commiserations to tatte, Chanku and Govindia sorry you guys didn't get in.

Honestly I was expecting a runoff vote, in a way disappointed in less competition, but glad we can get started soon.

It was unfortunate I received no support at all.   Meh.

I will write a detailed statement this weekend. 

For now, I must tend to preparations for the ceremony for my mother this weekend, to make sure her spirit is once again at peace.

Congratulations to everyone in the election, even the three that didn't receive a position. We probably had the most qualified block of candidates in all of history with this election. A lot of Wintreath talent here, I'd say.

I'm simply excited for this coming term, and I'm very hopeful that we can accomplish quite a lot these next two months
