In what might more entertainingly be speculated as a universal conspiracy (but was more likely a cosmic coincidence), this candidate's plans for posting a campaign thread for the Delegacy were greatly delayed by the sequential onset of several colds (of which the most recent is still being combated with questionable success).
In the belief that it is better to post late than never, however, this candidate has persevered on that front.
An Outline of Goals
- Update the Regional page so that the information presented in the factbooks and linked to is up-to-date, thus reducing the hurdles for new members to overcome in integrating into the region.
- Revitalize the RMB so that is no longer the sole domain of the roleplayers.
- Foster greater participation in the WA by discussing which proposals the Delegate should back, both at vote and in order to reach quorum.
Credentials
- @HannahB has bestowed upon me her support.
[Insert an eloquently-extended invitation to ask this candidate questions here.]

Ah, if only you had posted something like this a week ago. Don't be discouraged for the future, though. You have some good ideas. :)

Welcome back to the land of the living. :P
Sorry that you were ill, but I hope that you're starting to feel better at least. I appreciate your campaign...you might be at a disadvantage being late, but you never know. There's still a few days left and anyone could change their vote so it's still worth the effort. :)
Could you give us an idea of what your activity on the region page is like?

Currently I lurk the RMB, skimming the RPs and dropping in my two cents whenever someone brings up something not RP-related. Quite a few of the RPers are pretty invested in their nations' stats, so I see potential there to recruit nations who will take a more active interest in regional gameplay, if it's pitched correctly.
I also regularly lurk the WA forums, reading up on past discussions and forming opinions on pending proposals and the process in general. One day, I hope to take a more active role in there and perhaps author a proposal, though I have yet to figure out what to write it on.
I'm also currently in the process of raising my Safety stat after severely tanking it. It's a long, drawn out process since I'm also trying not to tank my other stats, but I'm confident I will prevail in the end. Though it might take a year or two to get back up to where I was. And my plans for a very pleasant anarchy may have to be put on hold until after.

I have a suggestion. Give yourself an avatar, so you don't look like someone who just joined the forum. :P

Hey. tatte, Chanku, and many others don't have avatars!

True, but they also have boatloads of posts.

True, but they also have boatloads of posts.
But much like the rest of us, they didn't start off with a boatload of posts.

But that involves hosting an image elsewhere to use as an avatar, and that's a lot more work for an avatar than I feel like putting in. :P

You can upload an image directly using the "OLD User CP."

That certainly simplified things.
