Some Fixes and Changes

1) Spoiler, quotes, and code tags should appear correctly on the news feed.
2) Members get a notice in their notices sidebar if someone likes or dislikes one of their posts.
3) The notices sidebar now uses member's current names instead of the ones they registered with.
4) You should not longer receive a notice for PMs announcing you have a mention (mentions have their own notices)
5) The Paypal button on the donation page has been changed from 'Donate' to 'Buy Now', due to some ambiguity over whether non-charities can use the donate button. Otherwise works the same way, with you putting in how much you want to contribute on Paypal's page.

PMs in News Feed Sidebar, Part II

I didn't like that PM notices disappeared when you read them...you may want to keep the notice to remind you to reply later on, for example, so I made it like mentions to where PM notices must be dismissed to disappear. This seems like a small change, but it required significant changes to the backend to make it work. As an aside, automated PMs, such as the ones sent by the notifications system, should not appear as notices.

Also, restored the red message stating when you had unread PMs.

How do we view this sidebar?  I don't see it on mine ?

In other news, I've opted to eliminate the arts/stories forums and tie it back into the Howling Wind Tavern. It was a good experiment, but there was little to no activity in them, and even the stuff that got posted rarely got a response. It would seem we're just not ready for the highbrow arts just yet.

The Birthday Update!

1) Members that have at least put in a day and a month for their birthday will now receive an email on their birthday to with them a happy birthday!

2) The newsfeed sidebar now shows who is having a birthday today, if anybody is celebrating one.

3) You can now add or change your birthday in your new profile (Your menu -> Profile)

4) The newsfeed sidebar now shows the IP address for the Minecraft server and how many people are currently online. This will update every minute. And this wasn't related to birthdays, but oh well.

The Nations Update - "It seems that perfection is attained, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing more to take away"

The Nations page has been removed. While it prompted some good developments on its own, like the code to handle multiple NSAPI requests without going over the rate limit, this feature itself was never that great, and the NS dossier is a much better way to managing multiple nations. However, you can now view your Citizenship nation in the News Feed.

HTML5 Youtube Player

In instances where Flash is not available or installed, posted Youtube clips will be played using the HTML5 player. This issue was originally reported by @Chanku. Note, this may not work with older videos that were posted using the older system (before May 9th).
