I like the sound so much sometimes I'll refresh the page just to hear it again.

And at just 64KB, it's even friendly on mobile data plans.

I got freaked the fuck out by the sound from the notifications. I didn't know what was happening.

I started hearing it when I clicked that thread to get free candy.

I was like, "Is that the sound of my free candy arriving?"

I ended up muting it because it goes off every time I go to a different page.  -_-

It shouldn't go off after you check your notifications, unless you receive a new one.

I haven't had any issues with the sound or notifications, but I check notifications as soon as I see I have a new one.

I must be doing something wrong then, because I checked the main page as well as my messages, and it still goes off.  I even tried clicking the little envelope, and it doesn't do anything.

Clicking the envelop should have been the key. I'm looking at your notices in the database though and it looks like you have 19 unread notices from over the last few days...try again maybe?

I keep clicking every time I load a new page, and it doesn't do anything. The link for the envelope is literally just "void (0)" .  Are the notifications the "likes" and "messages" and "mentions?"  Because as I speak, there's 0 of any new ones of those in my inbox.

They're all likes and mentions, actually. Do you have any notifications when you click the envelop?

Nope.  Like I said, it just hangs around, and clicking it doesn't do anything at all.  It doesn't change to a different page or anything, it's just there.

The orange envelop beside the menu with your username, right?

I just fixed a Firefox-specific bug with notifications...try now?

Give a test like (or mention).    When I accessed it through Chrome on my phone, it works normally...so I was able to get into it that way.
