Section I: Basic Information
1) Please introduce yourself to us! What led you here, what are your interests, and what are your hopes as a Citizen of our community? Feel free to include anything else you'd like us to know.

Howdy, I'm Ionia. I've been on nationstates since i was a kid, I think I was 13 when I created my first nation (I don't even remember the name - I got lucky making a name from League of Legends for this account). I'm a teacher now, and have been poking back around the scene considering to bring this into one of my classrooms after getting that youtube video about the guy with 40 alts running a region hit my youtube recommended. I've worked in the Alberta craft brewing scene for 6 years while I was in university, and so beer (and most alcohol) holds a special piece of my heart. Always happy to chat about craft beer!

Ah, the Averra Dossier...NS has a way of bringing obsessive people together, but he was in his own class lol.

It's amazing that NS is so old that people have literally been here as both kids and adults. I'm not quite in that category, but I have been around for 12 years now, and even that just seems weird lol. I'm glad you found your way back to NS though and decided to join us! I hope you enjoy being part of our group.

I've never drank alcohol before, but I assure you I'm in a minority of one. I'm sure you'll find plenty of others who also enjoy it here.

Two new things now that you're a Citizen:

1) You should be able to see the #governance channel on Discord. This is where we discuss community governance, both IC and OOC.

2) You can now join hangouts, which are private Discord channels for portions of our community so they can freely talk about things. We currently have hangouts for the LGBTQ+ and furry communities...if you're involved in either and would like to join, just DM or ping a Discord op (currently myself, Michi, or Wuufu) and let us know.
