My name is Awell (Awellian Islands on NS) and I am the Foreign Affairs Councilor in the region of Alcris.

1) What made your region decide to pursue relations with Wintreath?

Wintreath is a fun community which values community building and has a high level of activity. It is a region which has a selective embassy policy which I deeply admire. I think that Alcris is similar to Wintreath in these regards.

2) How do you feel our regions can help each other in the future?

Interregional events and helping each other out on the international stage can be of great use to both of us. If our regions grow close, then we can even think of an interregional roleplay or dual-citizenship, but of course that is me thinking too much into the future. Alcris deeply values all of our embassy partners and we aim to establish meaningful relations with each and every one of them.

3) What is your region's military stance (defender, raider, imperialist, neutral, etc)

Neutral, but strongly against raiders and raider regions.

@Awell: It always intrigues me when a new region wants to form relations with Wintreath. We're so far off the beaten path and uninvolved with NS things I guess I don't know why anyone would want to...but we've had that conversation lol. It's always a pleasant surprise that people do though, and Alcris sounds like a fine region and community.

You can find Alcris' forum consulate here, and you also post news and updates on the #nationstates Discord channel and/or our NationStates RMB. I'm currently your go-to for both foreign affairs stuff and any technical issues, so don't be afraid to reach out if you need something! We'll send an ambassador over to you shortly.

In the meantime, I'm looking forward to seeing where our new relations take us.
